The Trevor James Horn '88 was launched in 2013 to celebrate 25 years of TJ saxophones. It remains at the quality end of the student saxophone market, with a significant performance advantage due in part to the hand modified crook.
The Horn '88 is a free-blowing instrument suited to classical, jazz and R&B players and a hand rifled crook chamber to enhance its tonal characteristics. It offers the same classic warmth and breadth of tone as the original gold lacquer model but the sound is more powerful and a fair bit brighter. If you are looking for a student instrument with more powerful projection, then this is the one for you.
All Trevor James saxophones are supplied with neck strap, care accessories and a lightweight case with backpack straps.
