Online Sales Coordinator

We're recruiting for an Online Sales Coordinator who will be part of a dynamic and growing team.

Alan Gregory Music & Musical Instruments specialises in providing musical instruments, accessories, and sheet music both nationally and internationally, as well as offering expert advice and instrumental repairs to the musical community. The role is based in our store located in Didsbury Village, South Manchester. You will be working as part of a friendly, supportive, and close-knit team.

As the Online Sales Coordinator, your main responsibility will be to download, process and dispatch customer orders across several platforms including our own dedicated website, Amazon, and eBay. This integral role forms one of the main revenue streams of the company.

Role Requirements:
• Ideally, you will have prior experience working in a retail environment
• You will be able to confidently use Windows-based software and comfortable with IT
• Data inputting into Excel
• You will have a meticulous approach to managing deadlines and a commitment to excellence
• Promptly booking orders onto the stock system as they arrive from suppliers
• You will have experience of event POS and stock systems
• Delegation of tasks to other members of the team as necessary
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, answering telephone calls and emails
Personal Skills:
• Your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to work well with colleagues, liaise effectively with suppliers and communicate with customers
• Time management and organisational skills are essential
• Confidence to work independently and manage varying workloads
• Be able to process and quickly assimilate information
• A willingness to learn new skills and gain experience
• An interest in music would be beneficial but not essential

Accounts & Office Manager

We are seeking an immediate member of staff in finance for an established Music & Restaurant business in Didsbury, South Manchester. The role is a sole finance position so you must therefore be able to work on your own initiative and be able to work closely with the M.D.

The role encompasses all aspects of Accounting and administration, plus experience of Sage Line 50 is essential, duties include Sales & Purchase ledger, Shop & Internet transactions, Payments in and out of the business, Petty Cash handling, V.A.T., Bank & Credit Card Reconciliations, Maintaining several bank accounts including PayPal account, Customer Refunds, VAT Preparation, Credit Control, E-mails in & out.

Must have a good knowledge of Microsoft applications as databases will need to be maintained. A good telephone manner as you will be speaking to Customers and Suppliers, Ordering stationary, Filing, Answering phones, opening incoming post and distributing where necessary.

The job will also require product price updates which requires a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel using a pre-written formula to get the correct prices into our system and online.

Part qualified and or AAT is advantageous but qualified by experience in this role will also be considered. Experience with using Sage Line 50, Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.

Website Designer plus e-Commerce Marketing

We are recruiting for a talented and motivated person to take control of the e-Commerce Marketing & Website Designs for a number of companies under the same ownership. We want the right person to join our management team based in Didsbury, Manchester to help drive and promote the companies forward in the right manner. The companies work within Music, Food & Drink within the specific sectors of Musical Instrument Retailing, Sound Equipment Hire, B&B, Weddings, Events, Catering and Hospitality. Once established would be willing to look at remote working with hours to suit.

The role is to further develop the Company's e-Commerce package, fulfil ambitions to rapidly expand sales via this media to B2C customers, refresh and change web-site offers daily, collect email addresses from visitors, electronic mail shot marketing campaigns, customer retention campaigns though email, analysis of click through of traffic, develop and deliver SEO, manage PPC campaigns, increase traffic to website and sales via this media, use of social networking sites to generate sales and bookings.

This would suit a confident and outgoing individual. The job is varied and skill sets required include the ability to copy write and demonstrate a high standard of the English language. Previous experience of Social media for business purposes. Prefer degree level education. A passion for to organising, inspire, other team member to provide copy for web and a general interest in social media is required. Previous experience of WordPress and a good understanding of technology would be advantageous most current platforms with BT but willing to consider other options.

Working as part of a sales team you will be responsible for collating all information from the team and have overall responsibility of the e-Commerce department. You will be liaising and working directly with the Managing Director to manage PPC and SEO campaigns in Google, Yahoo and MSN. Other key responsibilities will include things such as keyword research, ad grouping, writing ad copy and making recommendations on landing pages. You will be monitoring and maintaining PPC and SEO campaigns including analysing and reporting on all PPC and SEO accounts on a weekly and monthly basis.

Requirements: IT or e-Commerce related degree or equivalent experience, experience of creating and developing content for websites, knowledge and understanding of electronic marketing materials, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ambitious, driven and target oriented, confident self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
