Musical Instruments and Cases
All Musical Instruments and Instrument Cases are shipped via Parceforce Worldwide or FedEx on a Next Day delivery service, all International Orders will take a little longer. Larger Orders* or all Orders to Northern Ireland which are shipped on a Two Day delivery service. We have a number of extra Timed delivery services being available by request and extra cost, please call the sales team for details.

Sheet Music and Musical Accessories
All Sheet Music and Musical Accessories are shipped via Royal Mail except for bulky or heavy items which are shipped via Parceforce Worldwide or FedEx on a Next Day delivery service. All bulky or heavy items to Northern Ireland are shipped on a Two Day delivery service with a Next Day delivery service being available by request and at an extra cost.
Please make sure that you provide a delivery address with the correctly formatted Post Code, House Number or Name and contact telephone number, as this will ensure that your goods are delivered as quickly and effectively as possible. Inaccurate and lazily typed address details will cause a delay or possibly failure in processing, dispatching and delivery of your order.

This is a guide price that will be charged at 'point of sale' within the checkout, if the actual cost is different we will contact you before your goods are despatch to arranged for the correct payment.

The Price of Shipping does depend on the Destination, Weight and Volumetric Dimensions of your Packed Order - Our Shopping Cart will give you a guide price at 'Point of Sale' but if the actual cost is different we will contact you before your goods are despatch.
Import and Customs Duties or Taxes
Deliveries requested by the customer to a country outside of the UK, may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict or calculate what they may be.
Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering for Alan Gregory Music & Musical Instruments, you are considered the importer of the goods - you must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. For some larger items would need to be collected direct from your nearest international airport.
Alan Gregory Music & Musical Instruments relies upon the services of third party couriers for all of our deliveries. We always aim to carry out our despatch and delivery promises, but there are inevitably a few rare occasions when the couriers fail to perform the service that they are required to. We cannot be held responsible for the late delivery of an item in such circumstances beyond our control.
For the avoidance of doubt Alan Gregory Music & Musical Instruments will not refund the standard delivery charge if the courier has failed to deliver the item(s) on the anticipated delivery date, unless where an upgraded Premium Guaranteed Service has been paid for and has failed to deliver within the pre-agreed timescale, a refund will be given equal to the difference in price between the Premium Guaranteed Service and the standard non-guaranteed service price. Please allow 10 working days for the refund to be credited to your account.
Alan Gregory Music & Musical Instruments will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within 10 days from the expected delivery date.
All Goods delivered will be to the Customer's address. The Customer is responsible for making all arrangements to take delivery of the Goods whenever they are tendered for delivery. All Goods that have been requested by the customer to be left in a 'safe' place are the responsibility of the customer and we will not be held liable for missing or stolen items.
Where a parcel cannot be delivered, e.g. no-one at home, the courier will leave a card with details of the phone number to call to arrange another delivery. If the parcel does not arrive when you expect it then please don't hesitate to give us a call on 0161 445 4466 or email us and we will do our best to liaise with the relevant courier to trace the parcel's whereabouts. If your parcel cannot be delivered because nobody can sign for it within 3 days it will be returned back to us. Should we then have to re-send the parcel, we reserve the right to re-charge the cost of any re-delivery.
Damage in Transit
If goods arrive in a damaged condition the Buyer must make a note on the carrier's delivery consignment note or if the goods are not checked the buyer must sign for the goods as 'unchecked'. It is the Buyers responsibility to inform us within 24 hours.
Damaged goods should not be accepted and delivery refused and the goods will be returned straight to Alan Gregory Music and Musical Instruments. If damaged goods are accepted the Buyer must return the product at their own cost.
Any goods signed for are deemed as being accepted in good condition. We cannot accept any responsibility for damaged goods once the items have been accepted and signed for.
